Hi lovely,
July has been a month of celebrations (i turned 40!), returning to roots, and remembering why this work matters so deeply.
I’ve spent much of this month in Shanghai with my parents, helping my 70 and 75-year-old parents continue their own decluttering journeys. What started as sorting through “stuff” became something much more meaningful - uncovering stories, memories, and pieces of their lives that I may never have otherwise discovered.
I finished helping my dad with his office (apart from the many photo albums still waiting patiently for another day!), and I was reminded again that legacy isn’t just about what we leave behind - it’s about the conversations, connections, and choices we make while we’re still here.
I shared some reflections from this journey over on Substack.
One of the biggest lessons?
Decluttering later in life isn’t about getting rid of things. it’s about creating the space to make intentional choices while we’re still healthy and able to enjoy the process.
It’s a gift we give ourselves and the people we love: more clarity, more ease, and more peace.
Coming up next month:
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by your home, navigating a life transition, or simply longing for more breathing room - come and explore the upcoming guided 3-week programs starting August 17 & 18.
If you’ve been feeling called to simplify, reset, or begin your own joyful legacy journey, I’d love to have you join us.

If July has taught me anything, it’s this: we don’t have to wait for a crisis to start having the conversations that matter. Small steps today can create so much peace for tomorrow.
Thank you, as always, for being part of this community.
With joy,
Rebecca
P.S. Circle of Joy members - we'll have a bonus Weekly Reset tomorrow to wrap up the month with intention.
