Hi lovely,
September has been a month of gratitude, gentle closings, and the quiet beginnings of something new.
Today we gathered for our final Circle of Joy session... for now. The room was so full of warmth and gratitude that I found myself a little lost for words. This community has been one of the great joys of my work, and saying "see you soon" to this particular rhythm of gathering felt tender in the best way.
One of our members reminded me of something I haven't stopped thinking about since. That community is part of our DNA. That we are, quite literally, designed to belong to a tribe. It landed so deeply, because it's true. So much of this work looks like decluttering and letting go, but underneath it all, what we're really doing is coming home to each other.
This isn't goodbye. Circle of Joy is simply resting while something new takes shape. Watch this space... I can't wait to show you what's coming.
I wrote a piece this month called How many tabs are open in your home? If you've ever felt that low hum of mental clutter, the sense of too many things left half-open and quietly draining you, this one's for you. Our homes hold open tabs just like our minds do... and closing a few can bring more calm than we expect.
One more moment worth sharing:
This reflection seemed to land for so many of you over on Substack. I've been holding onto the response to it all month.
If September has taught me anything, it's that endings and beginnings so often share the same breath. We close one circle, and in the quiet that follows, we begin to hear what wants to come next.
Thank you, as always, for being part of this community.
With joy,
Rebecca
P.S. If you'd like to come join me over on Substack, subscribing as a free reader is my gift to you... you'll receive my Joyful Rightsizing workbook to welcome you in.
